  • You have lived in Edinburgh for at least 2 years (or 1 year if fleeing domestic abuse or homeless).
  • You are on a low income with minimal savings and are facing a sudden financial crisis or debt.

What this grant covers

  • Essential household furniture and flooring
  • Essential kitchen appliances (cooker, fridge, washing machine)
  • Clothing and children's winter essentials
  • Emergency living expenses during severe crisis

How to apply

Applications must usually be submitted on your behalf by a recognised partner caseworker (e.g. social worker, housing officer, Citizens Advice Edinburgh worker).
