Who we are

SupportFund Ltd is the data controller for personal information handled through this site and the SupportFund membership.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, postcode, date of birth.
• Billing information: processed by our payment provider — we never store your full card number.
• Support messages you send through Get Help.
• Basic device and usage data (see our Cookies policy).

Why we use it

• To run your membership and process community claims.
• To take payment and prevent fraud.
• To respond to support requests.
• To send service updates (and, if you opt in, occasional news).

Legal bases (UK GDPR)

We rely on contract to run your membership, legitimate interests to keep the service secure and improve it, consent for optional marketing and non-essential cookies, and legal obligation where we must keep records.

Who we share it with

We share only what's needed with our payment processor, email provider and hosting provider. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep account and financial records for up to seven years after your membership ends, in line with UK accounting rules. Support messages are kept for up to two years.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, restrict processing, or take it elsewhere. Contact us via Get Help. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
