Apply online at mygov.scot or phone Social Security Scotland on 0800 182 2222.
Provide proof of your qualifying benefit award and Child Benefit reference number.
Payments are deposited directly into your bank account every 4 weeks with no limit on the number of eligible children.
Scottish Child Payment is paid on top of Child Benefit and Universal Credit without reducing them. Qualifying families can also access local council Best Start Grants and School Clothing Grants.
An allowance paid to parents or guardians responsible for raising a child under 16 (or under 20 in approved education or training).
