Most eligible residents receive the payment automatically into their bank account between November and December.
If you do not receive it automatically but receive a qualifying benefit, contact the Winter Fuel Payment Centre on 0800 731 0160.
Pensioners receiving Winter Fuel Payments can also access extra local council energy grants through the Household Support Fund and local warm space schemes.
