The UK Household Finance Report 2026 brings together every verified official statistic SupportFund holds on household finances into one place, presented consistently with value, publisher, reference period and last-checked date.

The report finds continuing pressure on household budgets despite easing headline inflation, with measured household-cost inflation higher for low-income households and renters, a growing Universal Credit caseload that includes millions of people in work, record domestic energy debt and record average private rents.
