    Download form BI100A (for accidents) or BI100PD (for industrial diseases) from GOV.UK.

    Complete the medical history section detailing your employment history and symptoms.

    Attend a medical assessment carried out by an independent DWP medical doctor.

Check local council disabled facilities grants and housing support

IIDB is paid regardless of savings and does not reduce Personal Independence Payment (PIP). Having an IIDB award strengthens applications for local council disabled housing adaptations (DFGs).
