Eligibility Criteria

Step-by-Step: How to Apply

    Give your employer written notice at least 15 weeks before your baby's due date.

    Use GOV.UK form SC3 (or your employer's internal paternity claim form) to formally request Statutory Paternity Pay.

    Payments are distributed by your employer through standard salary payroll across 1 or 2 consecutive weeks.
