Council-by-council directory sets out what Crisis and Resilience Fund help residents can apply for

What each council actually offers residents, separated from what central government allocated to it.

Announcement · Published 12 August 2026 · SupportFund

SupportFund has launched a council scheme directory that records what each local authority has published about the help residents can actually apply for.

151 councils are documented so far, of which 151 have support recorded as live. Each record captures what the scheme covers, how to apply, whether a benefits requirement applies and the council page it came from.

The directory is deliberately separate from the government allocation data. Allocation tells you what a council received; the directory tells you what a household can do about it.

We kept being asked which council gets the most money. The better question is which council has published something a resident can actually use, and that is what the directory tracks.
