Speak directly to your assigned Jobcentre Plus Work Coach during your regular journal check-in or appointment.
Provide evidence of the cost (e.g. train ticket quote, work boot estimate, or interview invitation letter).
If approved by the Jobcentre manager, funds are paid directly to you or paid upfront on your behalf.
The Flexible Support Fund can complement local council employability hubs, subsidized local bus passes, and community adult learning grants.
A fortnightly contribution-based benefit for individuals who are unemployed or working fewer than 16 hours a week and seeking employment.
