No new claims can be made for this benefit.
Existing claimants receive regular weekly payments directly into their nominated bank account.
Changes in circumstances or health should be reported to the DWP Disability Service Centre.
Receiving Severe Disablement Allowance grants passported eligibility for local council Blue Badges, travel concessions, and maximum Council Tax Reduction.
Support for individuals whose disability or physical/mental health condition limits their ability to work.
