Leicester City Council provides one-off Crisis and Resilience Fund payments for low-income households experiencing unexpected financial difficulty, including sudden loss of income and housing-cost problems. Published support includes one-off crisis payments, help following unexpected expenses or sudden loss of income, housing costs, rent arrears and rental deposits. Funds are limited and households in greatest need are prioritised.
Applicants must be aged 16 or over, live in Leicester, have £500 or less in savings and be able to show serious financial difficulty. The council assesses the whole household.
