Stoke-on-Trent City Council says the Crisis and Resilience Fund includes Housing Payments, which are live, and Crisis Payments for residents facing severe financial hardship with no other way to meet essential living costs. Published crisis support covers food and essential household items, gas, electricity and heating costs, clothing and personal hygiene items, essential household goods such as beds, fridges and cookers, emergency housing-related costs and essential travel.
The council says applicants may be able to apply if they live in Stoke-on-Trent, are aged 16 or over, are legally resident in the UK, have a low household income and are experiencing a financial crisis or unexpected financial difficulty.
