Cornwall's Crisis Payment is for residents aged 16 or over in an emergency or disaster situation needing immediate help to avoid serious risk to health or safety, who can demonstrate financial need. Wider support covers emergency financial help, essential household costs, housing-related support, debt advice referrals, benefits support and employment and skills support. Applicants complete a Crisis and Resilience Fund application followed by a Better Off Calculator income and expenditure assessment.
