Gloucestershire County Council says the Crisis and Resilience Fund runs from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029, replaces the Household Support Fund and helps residents facing sudden financial crises such as difficulty affording food, fuel, essential household items or emergency living costs, while funding advice, wellbeing and resilience services. The council publishes crisis examples including floods or fires, medical emergencies, leaving an abusive relationship, breakage of essential household items, redundancy, illness, unexpected bills and benefit disruption.
